Apple Fitness Challenges & Awards

Why couldn't I get that during the summer. You know, when the water was 90° and I swam for an hour every day.
No idea about their algorithms, but I have never gotten a swimming challenge before despite swimming regularly every summer. If I were to guess, I'd say it requires six months or something of a particular activity for it to be eligible for a monthly challenge.

17 move goals for me... I'm literally spending a day and a half in the air and a week at conferences this month, have thxgiving of daddy duty... in other words, it's gonna be an effort. Last year I ran 100km in Nov. This Nov, I'm def' not in the mood for such.
Best of luck!

I guess the previous two years didn't count. Ugh.

Probably a good thing if they require consecutive months. I would have been screwed otherwise previous years due to the pool closing in August and not opening again until end of May.

This is the first year since getting my first Apple Watch that I have a good all-year alternative for swimming.

I've seen that the challenges change depending on which Apple Watch you have.

I have a pool in the backyard. Last year I swam the day before Thanksgiving. This year we are having an unusual blast of cold.

Look at that heart rate😂

I seriously need a stress test, LOL.

(my theoretical max heart rate is below 180 BPM and a regular workout should aim for between 140 and 160, but these 5Ks don't run themselves without me pushing it a little).

that's nice! a goal you can complete in <2.5 hours! Mine is walking ≥5minutes 5 times. It's almost insulting!😀
