Apple is reportedly getting ready to replace Tim Cook as early as next year

Apple could announce a new CEO to succeed Tim Cook next year, according to the Financial Times.

It's speculative, I know, but I also know some people wouldn't miss Tim because of the way he's sucked up to the Cheeto Bandito.

I tend to believe, after the tumultuous Sculley-Spindler-Amelio years, that the company has established enough of a culture that it will be in good hands if and when Ternus takes the helm. Apple hasn't been successful at everything it's tried, but at least it knows what it is now.

Tim has been a genius when it comes to rapid mass-production of high quality tech. Like… true genius. Just look at the quality and the speed at which iPhones etc are produced. Pushing into services to keep the investors happy showed very good business acumen as well.

I hope the new CEO focuses more on Vision Pro and similar tech instead of “AI” initiatives.
