Casual games?

I enjoy Hearthstone on my iPad. I play a couple rounds of Phoenix II on my iPhone each day. I used to get really deeply into games, but not so much anymore. Does anybody else have suggestions for enjoyable casual games for iPad or iPhone?

Pocket Frogs, baby. Been playing it on and off for years now, 20 minutes at a time.... and still only at level 20-something,. with tens of thousands of frog species to go. I find it charming and fun. It's worth some of the in-app purchases in the beginning -- the ones that persist as opposed to expendables like stamps or potions-- to facilitate easier breeding and moving collections of frogs or eggs around.

I have to cop to having re-downloaded an Apple Arcade game I liked too well during some other time when keeping up with the news made me want to throw my connectable gear out the nearest window.

KittyCollector+, yeah... silly and fun (and playable offline) and it's the perfect antidote to that sense of having seen too many godawful headlines in too short a timeframe. Five minutes of clocking into Kitty Collector+ to refill a food dish or swap out the toys or snap photos of the visiting kitty characters doesn't change anything in the world except my mood... which is the whole point. I think it's also available in Apple's regular app store. Hey I'm paying for it in my AppleOne bundle so what the heck, it's no worse for my brain than a round of Sudoku at coffee break times. And my remedy for getting addicted is just deleting the app, which in this case I know I've done at least once before. 🙄🤣
