How Biden’s Foreign Policy Destroyed His Presidency
Biden's domestic agenda was the most progressive of any president since Lyndon Johnson. But it was entwined with a foreign policy that leaves his legacy drowned in blood.www.thenation.com
I know you won't read this and will just eye-roll, but here it is nonetheless 😉
Man, this is so fucking weak. I can't list a single Democratic US president of my lifetime whose presidency had ever come close to justify Drumpf Zwei. We are through Biden, you should get over it too. Your ideology made the bed for Trump, now lay in it proudly."Biden could maybe have done more". Lol. Understatement of the century. Biden didn't want to do more. Because he's a lifelong Zionist.
Correct. These people, whose core principle is humanitarianism are totally cool with this for example: https://apnews.com/article/state-department-trump-foreign-aid-bf047e17ef64cb42a1a1b7fdf05caffaAlmost as if it never was about Palestinians just like it never was about the price of eggs. 😕
Maybe we need to play him the tape of his inaugural address? This is obviously Biden’s fault as well.
After years and years of illegal and unconstitutional federal efforts to restrict free expression, I also will sign an executive order to immediately stop all government censorship and bring back free speech to America.
I tried avoiding the news today. Then my husband said "Check out what your president just announced!" 🙄Not looking forward to the news the rest of this week. Especially since there is so little pushback by Congress, especially from Democrats. As I scrolled down, I felt like I was looking at the Onion because of Trump's latest pronouncements re rebuilding of Gaza and removal of Palestinians.
President Donald Trump on Tuesday said the United States “will take over” the Gaza Strip — possibly with the help of American troops — while the Palestinians who live there should leave, a stunning proposal that would dramatically reorient the Middle East and subject a population of more than a million to further displacement.
“The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said during a joint press conference alongside his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, later describing his vision for the area as a new “Riviera.”
“We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings,” he said.
This election there was a clear choice as sucky as it was. By sitting out, you enabled Israel to finish the job, and maybe as far as you’re concerned it was too late anyway, so we deserve what we get, along the lines of the the US in name only, an authoritarian state, or civil war and the dissolution of the USA. So be it. You’ll be suffering along with the rest of us. Maybe martyrdom feels good from your perspective. It’s sad that some of you are only now pretending to care about Gazans just because Trump is saying wacky things. You had a whole year of Biden supporting genocide and only now that Trump promises to turn Gaza into the US and Israel’s playground does it become apparent how awful what happened in Gaza under Biden really is. Trump could not promise to do this unless Gaza had been razed to the ground, which it was, under Biden. Trump can certainly make things worse, but Biden set the stage for this, and I will not blame Palestinian Americans in Michigan, say, who did not want to vote for the party that was currently massacring their families.
It’s sad that Democrats thought carrying out a genocide was more important than winning an election. Now they’re seeing the fruits of that effort. I hope it was worth it.
How many Palestinian Americans do you know in Michigan? I actually know quite a few (as you may have figured it out based on my numerous previous posts). They aren't being blamed. People who feel entitled to who speak in their names are.I will not blame Palestinian Americans in Michigan, say, who did not want to vote for the party that was currently massacring their families.

This is rude and uncalled for IMO. Whatever your choice in November, it’s highly offensive to tell others that they don’t care about genocide. It’s sad that some of you are only now pretending to care about Gazans just because Trump is saying wacky things.
