Both of the Christmas Day games were lumps of coal in a stocking. The Steelers and Texans looked like they stayed up all night waiting for Santa and didn’t get any sleep.I’m not sure what’s worse: being blown out, or scoring only a safety. 😏
I saw a good bit of this one. Offensive ineptitude not good defense ...
I guess they made the switch too late. I turned it off at halftime. Clearly the Chiefs weren’t even trying.Okay, so yesterday I was watching the Chiefs-Broncos game on CBS. I came in late, so I was surprised to see that KC was getting whipped so thoroughly—until I realized that the Chiefs were sitting their starters.
Even so…
Anyway, I got curious about what else was on TV, so I switched channels for a few minutes…but when I came back to CBS, the game—which should’ve been in the early fourth quarter at worst—was gone, replaced by the Chargers-Raiders game.
I literally spent a few minutes questioning whether I was on the right network…even though I knew I’d been on CBS. Then I thought the game was such a blowout that they moved the final quarter somewhere else, like NFL Network, the way they occasionally do when a particularly long game overlaps the start of another.
But no, the game was not to be found anywhere. CBS just decided the game was so bad they didn’t want to carry the rest of it.
That’s a new one on me. And a lot of other people, it seems. 😄

CBS pulls national broadcast of Chiefs' blowout loss to Broncos
The Kansas City Chiefs backups took an absolute beating in Week 18 and are currently facing a 38-point deficit in an AFC West showdown against the Denver Broncos. In fact, the Chiefs' performance on Sunday was so bad that the decision-makers at CBS pulled the game…chiefswire.usatoday.com
From the looks of it the RAIDERS weren't either lol ...I guess they made the switch too late. I turned it off at halftime. Clearly the Chiefs weren’t even trying.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins reporting to work today:
And better than KC going.I’m rooting for the Bills… Getting to the Super Bowl means a risk of losing for a 5th time. But it’s better than not getting there!
I will be in mourning again until September. Then I’ll get my hopes up all over again! Great season for the Bills, they exceeded expectations considerably, but weren’t quite good enough to make the Super Bowl this time. Honestly, they actually probably were good enough, because there were some super close calls in the game, down to an inch here or there that made the difference. It came down to a bit of luck. Last week the Ravens Tight End dropped a pass at the end. This time the Bills Tight End dropped one. It happens…Well, that sucks. Neither team I wanted to see in the Super Bowl won today. It’s gonna be KC again (yaaaaaaaaaawn) vs. Philadelphia.
Buffalo sure gave it a go, though. 😐
