The Coffee Thread

Sipping an entirely unnecessary (but very welcome) second mug of coffee this evening.

The coffee is from El Salvador, and is naturally processed coffee; it is served with some organic hot milk.

Greatly enjoyed a coffee (a flat white, as it happens), in the excellent (and small) café in the French bakery this afternoon.

This evening, - having spent a relaxing two hours prepping and preparing my own (exceedingly relaxed) take on Pasta All'Amatriciana, I realised that I craved a coffee afterwards.

Somehow, coffee and Italian cuisine go awfully well together, and, although it is relatively rare (these days; university - where I virtually lived on coffee - was, needless to say, quite dramatically different) for me to enjoy (sip, sample, savour) a coffee so late in the evening.

Thus, I am sipping a mug of coffee from El Salvador, with a dash of organic hot milk.

Another Italian dish (homemade Pasta Carbonara) followed by another (evening) mug of wonderful coffee to keep me company.......

No other cuisine calls for a post prandial cup of coffee in quite the same way as dining when influenced by the manifold delights of Italian cuisine.

Enjoying a late afternoon (or, early evening) mug of coffee (a blend of one third Bolivian and two thirds coffee from El Salvador, of my own devising), this Saturday afternoon.

Enjoyed a blend (of my own devising) of coffee from Colombia and from El Salvador earlier this afternoon.

And now, a gloriously steaming mug (Le Creuset) of coffee (a blend of my own devising - of coffee from Colombia and El Salvador served with organic hot milk) sits - on a coaster - beside me.

Enjoying a relaxed Sunday afternoon mug (Le Creuset) of coffee from El Salvador, served with organic hot milk.

Earlier, I enjoyed a late afternoon (relaxed Sunday) coffee, this time from Thailand, served with organic milk.

A nice, smooth, sweet, and easy-drinking coffee.

Would Trump be so stupid as to jack up tariffs on coffee imports? Guatemalan beans are flying off my supermarket's shelf these days..
He cannot be elected again. So he has no reason to try and appease anybody. If he is convinced 25% tariffs on everything will make him look tough and compensate for his minuscule manhood, he will do it.
