Darim had become the latest victim in a series of vicious online witch hunts, in which men in South Korea attack women they suspect of having feminist views. They bombard them with abuse and try to get them sacked.

This is part of a growing backlash to feminism, in which feminists have been branded man-haters who deserve to be punished. The witch hunts are having a chilling effect on women, with many now scared to admit they are feminists.

He has a nice ringing name. EmBarrasso. This kind of posturing is very short-sighted. A nation without solidarity isn't a nation. A "nationalist" who sacrifices national unity for political gain is simply a chauvinist. And from an EU perspective I can tell, if someone from the EU approached resources like this, they'd be accused of infringing on another nation's sovereignty.

At the beginning of the 13-minute live stream, Musk explained that he had been asked to provide communications support for responding services using his Starlink satellite telecommunications technology. The firefighters give an explanation of their actions to date and the nature of the wildfires.

In the clip shared by Newsom, Musk is seen questioning the firefighter about water supply during the Palisades blaze.

Musk asked: “Was water available? I understand that wasn’t an issue in Malibu, is that correct?”

The firefighter points to a map behind him and calmly explained: “There was water, we have water reservoirs. Just an example, if we have one building burning we can flow 1000 gallons a minute on that one building.”

He continued: “The amount of water we’re flowing, there really is no water system that’s gonna keep that pace, so we have to bring in water tenders, which are these big water tanks, you know, 2500/3000-gallon trucks, and they’ll come in and that’s what we have to do to compensate.”

The firefighter added: “[The Department of Water and Power] did a great job, they brought in big trucks for us and we used them as, basically, mobile hydrants.”

Musk then seeks clarification: “Correct me if I’m wrong, but in Malibu there was no shortage of water, in the Palisades there was a shortage of water at a certain point, or is that not accurate?”

The firefighter explained: “Well, we were flowing an amount of water that the system couldn’t… it was overbearing.”

Before ending the live stream, Musk responded, “Ok. Alright. Sounds good.”

When sharing a picture of a truck stocked with fruit and water, he captioned the post: "We are going to position Cybertrucks with Starlinks and free WiFi in a grid pattern in the areas that most need it in the greater LA/Malibu area."

Musk also revealed on Sunday that "a lot more" aid would be sent out to contribute to the "effort tonight and tomorrow".

He also suggested those who own a Cybertruck could "ride around" in the "devastated areas" with a "Starlink terminal on the roof and open wifi".

Some have taken to social media to thank Musk, whose Cybertrucks have offered energy and WiFi.

One person suggested they were stuck "without grid power" when they were offered the chance to hook up to the source.

This then allowed them to communicate and get important fire updates.

Speaking about those looting during the chaos, Musk even advised the side panels of the vehicles are "bulletproof" but only to "subsonic projectiles".

Others posted pictures of emails from Starlink, the service which provides streaming in even the most remote locations, offering them a whole month free of charge.

Why did I bold part of that? That's where the assholery comes in.
