The Northern Lights are visible tonight

[Thomas Veil]

They’re pretty much never viewable around here, but because of today’s powerful solar flare, we can finally see them.

At least, through our phones. Mrs. Veil and I can’t (at the moment) see anything much with our naked eyes, but thanks to Apple’s photo processing technology, we’re finally getting to enjoy what only people much farther to the north of us get to see.

Cloudy here, would have been an amazing show. Clear skies now when it is the morning after… 😂

Well, at least I am in a position to experience northern lights on a more regular basis during the winter. Yay for me! And yay for everyone who caught the show! You get a yay! You get a yay! Everyone gets a yay!

Would be fun to travel and experience the southern lights too some day.
