Top-down permission for the whole country to engage 24/7 in "locker room talk" and worse is just one part of the Trump Era legacy.

It will take awhile for elected officials, other pols and plain citizens (and parents!) to calm down and re-establish some norms... otherwise our grandkids, when babysitting the toddlers next door, will even be getting obscenities thrown at them by playpen occupants throwing hissy fits.

Don't worry, if we'll ever get another Democrat president, norms will start mattering again.
 
Sascha Riley interview discussion is starting to hit the internet. For those unaware he’s an Iraq war vet saying at a young age he was trafficked by his adopted family and later within the Epstein network where it wasn’t just child rape but also violence and murder. He names Trump as well as Jim Jordon and Lindsay Graham being involved. This is all based on one interview with a mostly unknown independent journalist. I’m extremely skeptical if for no other reason that with his timeline you’d have to believe a middle class late teen Jim Jordon was somehow hanging out with rich powerful people committing heinous crimes. However, if any of this is remotely true it would explain the DOJ stonewalling the complete release of the Epstein files and the over the top conspiracy projecting at Democrats. It could also be a red herring plant attempting to downplay and distract from the actual crimes by disproving this guy. If one victim or witness is a liar then I guess that must mean nothing happened at all, or at least that’s the assumption they are operating on.

he remembers gym jordan because when he was twelve he was only like 7-9 years older than him and trump was there? fucking bullshit. A twelve-year-old feels a 20-year-old just as old to him as age as a 40-year-old as both are simply "grownups". Trump would have never mingled with dirty ohio wrestler Jordan in 1984. The story is bullshit and the guy is either psychotic but more likely, this aims to cast doubt in the veracity of the epstein files in general.

I heard him compared to Anthony from the Twilight Zone. So many Republicans had chances to stand up to him but never did. So his demands just get more and more extreme, as do the consequences for not appeasing him.

There’s a Smurfs episode titled Baby Sensei, where smurfette and the other start thinking that Baby Smurf is a martial arts prodigy so they follow him into all kinds of stupid trouble, like wrestling a bear and they regularly need to be saved by one of the sane smurfs.

Why do i bring this up? Because my kids refuse to watch that episode again because it’s so stupid. Now, chump is baby sensei, but we are short of sane smurfs

Republicans are saying there are other things to worry about. Democrats sound frustrated at being at an impasse.

It galls me to say it, but stopping Trump starting a war and becoming a world dictator is more important right now. 😡
