United States of Mass Deportation

ICE agents killed a man in Chicago. Here was the agents’ official story, repeated without question by mass media:

Then videos from various cameras and bystanders showed up:

So, the agent who claimed he was injured by being dragged “a significant distance” (which would have to be less than 100 feet based on the video evidence if it happened at all) didn’t appear to be injured at all, and the car wasn’t driving towards the agents as they claimed. Looks like they shot at a car that was driving away from them. We also cannot see anybody being dragged in the video.

The man who was killed had no criminal record.

I wonder what ICE is up to? It couldn’t possibly be choking and body-slamming women to the ground… right?

But this was an outlier of course, right?

The woman in the second video is running for congress…ICE agents don’t care.

Surely ICE can’t sink lower than beating up women.

They definitely wouldn’t kidnap a 5-year-old girl and hold her hostage. That would be too far even for them, right?

RIGHT?

There had better be a LOT of ICE agents in prison if/when we take this country back.

UPDATE; Bluesky seems to have censored this post? WTF

More beating of women by ICE. This time it looked like somebody did the right thing by relieving the violent offender from duty.

Well, that didn’t last long. F these guys!

Mofos really went with the clownified version of Black Noir's look. They look and move like a bunch of cosplayers.

A border patrol agent shot a woman 5 times and lied about what happened.

Do they not remember the body cameras? Or do they just not care?

Her supposed crime was simply following the agents in her car,

The Tahoe is the ICEmobile which was surrounded by the Nissan on it's left along with the GMC(?) with the mexican flag on its right is driven by the woman who ultimately got shot.

You can tell that these ICEstapo agents amateurs when someone gets shot 7 times and doesn't die and we get unobscured bodycam footage. It's US policing 101.

More details about the BS. Sadly I take your point: the "real" police are far better at covering their tracks when they shoot innocent people.

Removed a post referencing Pam Bondi's threat to arrest Washington Governor Jay Inslee for non-cooperation.

Turns out the video is a month old. Still, it's a frightening thought.

If you know anybody who’s afraid of being picked up by ICE, let them know about this site. According to someone on Bluesky, it’s a trap.

And now that you can’t download the ICEBlock app anymore, you may want to rely on this backup.

Story of a disabled 15-year-old American citizen being targeted by ICE.

ICE messes up again. This time in Texas they've detained an Episcopalian priest from Kenya who has legally been working in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Idiots. Was the guy sporting a DumpTrump bumperstick, or just driving while black?

They’ve tear-gassed kids. They grabbed a dad out of his car, then drove the car away with the man’s daughter still in the back seat. They stormed a DAYCARE without a warrant.

I’ve read about how Nazis treated children, including babies during raids. We’re getting close to that indiscriminate slaughter from ICE. There is a clear and blatant disregard for the welfare of children, if they’re assumed to be the “wrong” kind of children.

Re the Tennessee Holler guy's query "What are we doing?" Yeah, well... sure looks like we're tolerating the bringing of Stephen Miller's version of the American dream into reality.

But that vision seems unpopular among more voters as the extrajudicial cruelty ramps up.

More and more American citizens realize that many of us and/or our American-born kids live in jeopardy day to day, just for how we may look or speak when ICE shows up looking to make deportation quotas. That leaves aside the fact that the US economy depends on a lot of immigrant labor in many sectors, and that --in lieu of immigration reform-- we have made winking and nodding at illegal but needed workers a way of life.

Subtract a nanny here, a home care aide there, a dairy milk hand up the road, a corner bodega over there, an apple orchard unharvested and a dusty farm full of chickens no one's around to chase onto trucks and to a processing plant, and pretty soon we notice that everything's going to sh^t. AND no matter who we are in ICE's view, we're all still short of good jobs and affordable housing, good schooling, medical care, utilities and groceries. Meanwhile what's left of the federal government has shut down because everyone has lost the plot on how to negotiate budgets across the aisle and Trump doesn't give a damn about anything but his press clips and his personal wealth.

Maybe Miller and other Trump officials like Noem should check around to see where else they could live when enough more Americans tire of this implementation of Trump's campaign promises about immigration and other stuff. And give Trump a heads up if they locate a place. He'll need a new hangout too.

And besides specific ICE activity, there's the sideline activity of just harassing locals, particularly now in Memphis. Trump's recent deployment there of National Guard and 30 other local, state and federal agencies for a so-called hypervigilant anti-crime mission has resulted in some in-tandem and often misguided attention by members of ICE.

Piece begins by reporting an incident where a guy was clearly targeted for walking to a local store while Black...

A Memphis Police Department cruiser pulled up, and two officers questioned him: Where was he coming from? Where was he going? Williams responded, and the interrogation continued: Did he have any weapons on him? No. Any drugs? No. When asked to empty his pockets, the 39-year-old artist turned over his wallet and phone.

Minutes later, four men poured out of an unmarked SUV with tinted windows. They carried rifles and wore body armor — but no identifying badges. He thought of his family. “Deep down, I felt like I was not gonna make it home,” said Williams, who is Black.

Among those who have reported being harassed: a ride-share driver stopped for not wearing a seat belt despite having one on as she drove a passenger to the airport; a pastor pulled over for looking lost as she left a church gathering; and, in a case of mistaken identity, a 72-year-old man roused from bed and marched out of his apartment while clad in only his robe and underwear.

None of these people were ultimately ticketed or arrested. But they told MLK50: Justice Through Journalism and ProPublica that they feared for their safety during what they described as indiscriminate and intimidating police encounters. While none of the law enforcement agencies involved responded to specific questions about these residents’ experiences, the news organizations corroborated their accounts using contemporaneous text messages and social media posts, as well as interviews with neighbors and relatives.

“I really believe that if I didn’t have that birth certificate, I would be somewhere in a facility,” said Williams, recalling one of the armed federal agents approaching him aggressively to ask if he was from Ethiopia or Ghana. “If you’re not white, we’re just all going to be targeted.”

Meanwhile you can bet Stephen Miller, Pete Hegseth and Pam Bondi showed up for photo ops. Miller, as usual, was waxing extreme in his exhortations at the launch of the mission. He happened to specify "in Georgia" instead of "in Tennessee" during his speechifying but hey.

Appearing in Memphis on Oct. 1 to launch the task force, U.S. homeland security adviser Stephen Miller told hundreds of law enforcement officers gathered before him that they were “unleashed.”

“The handcuffs that you’re carrying, they’re not on you anymore. They’re on the criminals,” Miller bellowed as he stood in an East Memphis warehouse, flanked by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. “Whatever you need to get it done, we’re gonna get it done.”
